Why didn’t I receive the license code?

The reasons might be:

• Due to your email settings, the email containing license code may go to your Spam folder directly. Please check it there.
• You provided an invalid email address when you ordered the software.
• Your email service provider rejects emails from unknown senders.

To retrieve lost license code, please send email to support@glarysoft.com, including your full name, email address and Order ID(if known). We are happy to provide you your registration code again.

How to register to get the PRO version?

You need to manually register the program with the license code you purchased. The license code can be found in the email you received after you purchased the program. 

After you use the license code to successfully activate the trial version , and then you can enjoy Glary Utilities Pro.
  
When you run Glary Utilities after installing it, click “Manage License” button under the “Overview” tab. Or you click PRO icon in the bottom-right corner next to the version number.  

It will pop up a box for you, please click “Refresh“.

Enter your name and the registration code, and finally click “Activate Now“. 

If you successfully register with your license code, the trial version will turn into the pro version.

 How to renew the license code?

We always provide renewal discount to our customers. Customers can renew their license code here. By renewing, you will get a new subscription and a new ONE YEAR license code. You need to manually register Glary Utilities with your new license code.

When will you receive the license code information after purchasing Glary Utilities Pro?

When purchasing by credit card, you will immediately receive your registration and license code information via email. If the product is purchased using one of our alternative billing methods, you will receive your registration and license code information as soon the payment has been received and cleared.

How long is the valid service time of the license code?

How to uninstall Glary Utilities?

• In the Start menu click Control Panel (you may need to click Settings first).
• Click Uninstall a program, or Programs and Features, or Add or Remover Programs.
• In the list of programs select Glary Utilities, and then click Uninstall/Change, or Uninstall.
• Follow the displayed instructions to complete the uninstallation.

Private browsing mode doesn’t offer complete privacy, but it does prevent your browser from saving your history, searches, cookies, and other private data between browsing sessions. You can have your browser always start in private browsing mode if you prefer it.

Google Chrome

To activate Google Chrome’s incognito mode by default, you must add a command line option to its shortcut.

First, locate the shortcut you use to launch Google Chrome—either on your taskbar, desktop, Start menu. Right-click it and select “Properties”. If you’re using a taskbar shortcut, you’ll have to right-click the Google Chrome shortcut on your taskbar, right-click “Google Chrome” in the menu that appears, and then select “Properties”.

Add -incognito to the end of the text in the Target box. That’s a space, one dash, and then the word incognito. Click “OK” to save your changes after adding this option.

Google Chrome will now start in incognito mode when you launch it from this shortcut. If you use other shortcuts to launch Google Chrome, you will also need to modify them. To undo this change in the future, edit your shortcuts and remove the -incognito text you added.

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox allows you to automatically enable private browsing mode via its options window. Click menu > Options to open it.

Click the “Privacy” tab at the left side of the window to access your privacy settings. Under History, click the “Firefox will” box and select “Never remember history”. You’ll be prompted to restart Firefox.

Firefox will now always use the same settings it uses in private browsing mode, although it won’t display its normal private browsing interface. It will just look like a normal Firefox browser window.

To undo this change in the future, return to this pane and tell Firefox to remember your history again.

Every time you browse the web some toolbar which you don’t remember installing keeps annoying you. Well whether you installed it by accident or not, here’s a guide on how to remove unwanted toolbars from your browser.

Toolbars can end up on your computer in various ways. The most common is when you install another piece of software and forget to untick the box for the additional toolbar installation.

Internet Explorer

• Open Internet Explorer
• Click the cog wheel at the top right and select ‘Manage add-ons’.
• The Toolbars and Extensions tab is open by default so locate the Toolbar you want to delete and click on the trash icon. 

Google Chrome

• Open Google Chrome.
• Find and select the “settings ” in the top right-hand corner.
• Click on Extensions.
• Disable or completely delete the unwanted toolbars.

Mozilla Firefox

• Open Mozilla Firefox.
• Open the menu bar and select Add-ons. 
• Browse or search the Extensions and Plugin lists for any unwanted toolbars. 
• Remove or disable any unwanted toolbars.

Opera

• Open Opera.
• Click the Opera in the top left-hand corner, then select Extensions.
• Hit Manage Extentions.
• Find and delete any toolbars you don’t think should be there.
• After you’ve completed the steps, restart your browser.

• Clean the desktop. Remove shortcuts and icons that are no longer use from the desktop

• Only install software that you need to have running on your system. Having software on your computer that you don’t actually need only increases the amount of used disk space on the said drive, whether it be your operating system drive or a secondary or external drive.

• Uninstall unused programs. Removing or uninstalling some unused programs can free up much spaces in hard disk drive. In Control Panel, use Add or Remove function to uninstall the unused applications completely. Or you can download a freeware program called Revo Uninstaller, which you can download for free.

• Install an efficient antivirus program. Virus can harm the computer and make computer in poor performance. These virus may copy and download many malicious files on your disk. The efficient anti-virus program can help block and remove virus on the computer. Even if you don’t want to pay for security software, there’s no excuse not to download a free Anti-Virus program such as AVG or Avast.

• Clean up corrupt registry entries. When you install or uninstall programs, the registry files are created or modified. The registry file should be removed automatically but some software developer won’t add necessary code to delete the registry files. The registry entris will be more and more if you don’t clean them. If you are not an expert on computer, you are recommended to install software to clean up registry entries. For registry cleaning, we do not recommend a manual removal, since any improper deletion of registry entries may result in severe computer problems. we  advise you to use some cleaner tool, such as Glary Utilities or CCleaner help you clean them. Learn more here. To get a music CD transferred over to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad, you’ll have to import it into iTunes first. Here’s how to transfer specific songs or all songs from a CD.

• Open iTunes and insert the CD that you wish to import into the disc drive.
• You might get a prompt to import the CD. If you want to import every song on the disc, select “Yes” and skip to Step 5. If you only want to import specific songs from the CD, select “No“.

• Select the CD icon located at the upper-left area of the screen.

• Check the items you wish to import to iTunes, then select “Import CD“.

• Select your preferences for the import. You can use the AAC Encoder, MP3 or other. Select “OK” once you’re done with your selections.

• If your music library already contains tracks from the album you are importing, you will receive a prompt to overwrite them. Choose to “Replace Existing” or “Don’t Replace” as desired.

• Wait while the music is ripped to your iTunes library.
• Once the import is complete, attach your Apple device to the computer.
• Select the “Music” option at the upper-left portion of the screen to display all songs in your iTunes library.
• You can now drag the songs you imported to the leftside of the iTunes window where a pane will appear containing the music on your device. Drop it right on your iPhone, iPod or other device.
• Eject your Apple device when it’s done transferring the songs and enjoy.

Some older music CDs may actually be protected with DRM. You will need to use third-party software that allows access to import a disc like this. In some countries, there is some debate as to whether it is legal or not to use software to copy music off a DRM protected CD. Be sure you are following all applicable laws in your area if you attempt to do this.
